Open House
We held our open house at the Carmel Valley Library. We did a live demo with our competing robots, introduced FIRST to our local community, and answered the questions of people looking to transition from FLL to FTC.
We learned of the conference at Barrio Logan Art Exposition, and got the chance to participate. At the conference, we showcased this year's FTC game and our robot to visitors. Alongside the BurritoBots and EGGbots we exchanged our experiences of this season, did a Q&A session on FIRST and this year's game, and drove our robots together.
We listened to women in STEM recount their experiences and give advice to the future generation. We also set up a booth and displayed our FTC robot to visitors
Barrio Logan Art Exposition
We set up a booth at the Barrio Logan Art Exposition, where we showcased robotics curriculum and our journey to kids. There, we met fellow FTC teams like the Sentinels and Alpacas, who lent us a broken part. We also met other STEM groups, which led to us connecting with them and attending more events, like the LKW Educators Conference, and a lesson at La Maestra.
